Overtime
Since we've got both Holy Thursday and Easter to prepare for, expect this Tuesday's rehearsal (the 26th) to run late. Exactly how late, I don't know. But to compensate, you'll get the following Tuesday off.

Prayers Please
For Kristin Rosenqvist, who continues to battle a myriad of health problems. St. Dymphna (above), pray for her and us!
Habemus Papam
Let us pray for Francis our Pope, that the Lord may preserve him, give him life, make him blessed upon the earth, and hand not his soul over to his enemies.
V. May Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand.
R. And upon the son of man whom You have confirmed.
Let us pray. O God, shepherd and ruler of all the faithful, You have willed Your servant, Francis, to be the pre-eminent shepherd of Your Church. Graciously look upon him and grant to him, we beseech You, to benefit by word and deed those whom he rules, so that, with the faithful flock, he may come to life eternal. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

How To End Up In Kathy's Doghouse
Kathy, our director, is a kind, patient, and classy soul, but even she has her limits. If you really want to get under her skin, here's how:
- Don't show up for rehearsal or Mass without telling her.
- Tell her you can't show up for rehearsal or Mass just beforehand when you knew days or even weeks ago you wouldn't be there.
- Come to Mass without your music in order.
- Don't review the music between rehearsals or before coming to Mass.
- Come late to rehearsal or call time without a good reason.
- Tell her she never gave you that piece of music . . . when she did.
- Anticipate the "s" at the end of a phrase.
- Use the American "r", such as in "Glorrrrrrrria".
- Get louder atop a podatus.
- Double the note on a salicus.
Did I miss any?

Sede Vacante
The Chair of St. Peter is now vacant, as represented by the above logo. All blessings be upon Pope (Emeritus) Benedict XVI, whose Summorum Pontificum in 2007 made it far easier to celebrate Mass in the Extraordinary Form.
Therefore, we pray the Collect for the Election of the Supreme Pontiff
(From the Votive Mass Pro Eligendo Summo Pontifice):
O Lord, with suppliant humility, we entreat Thee, that in Thy boundless mercy Thou wouldst grant the most Holy Roman Church a pontiff, who by his zeal for us, may be pleasing to Thee, and by his good government may be ever honored by Thy people for the glory of Thy name. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son who with Thee livest and reignest world without end. Amen.
