Nobody Wants Sacred Music, Example #4,923

Regina magazine (good name, eh?) has the story of how Chicago's St. John Cantius parish turned from threatened closure to thriving with 2,000 families by bringing back sacred music and the TLM, not to mention extensive renovations of the church itself. People in their 20s, 30s, and 40s--the very ones who are not coming to church anywhere else in spite of guitar and ethnic Masses--are drawn to the renewed sense of the sacred and transcendent.

And yet LifeTeen Masses persist in parishes with dwindling membership.
