Adoremus Second Edition En Route

We use the Adoremus hymnal mostly for polyphonic hymns, but it also contains a lot of the Masses we sing from Liber Cantualis. Well, according to the National Catholic Register via Chant Cafe, a second edition of Adoremus for the revised Missal will begin shipping on November 20th. More about it here.

Now all we need is the funds to buy some!

Our Friends To The North

RPC gives a hat tip to Le Panache Chorale director John Probst, who attended the Mass at Immaculate Conception last week following the Eucharistic and Marian Conference and gave his regards.

Based in Quincy, Le Panache is a regular participant in the Ecumenical Choir Festival. They'll be performing December 9th at 7 PM in the Plumas County Courthouse.

Le Panache doesn't have a website that I can find, but John Probst does.

Singers Wanted

Regina Pacis Cantorum is always looking for Northern Nevada men and women interested in singing a cappella Latin chant and polyphony. We are open to all voice parts, but we are especially looking for sopranos and basses.

You do NOT have to be Catholic or have any prior chant experience, and we'll help you learn! We sing at both Extraordinary Form and Novus Ordo Masses, and rehearse on Tuesday nights.
